Govindraj Ethiraj has over 18 years of experience in Business News and current affairs. Prior to his current appointment, he was Editor (New Media) at Business Standard. He has also headed the Mumbai News Center of CNBC-TV18 from 2000-2005, where he was primarily responsible for broadening the content horizon of the channel - from stock markets to economy, finance and corporate news. He has previously also worked with Economic Times, Business World and Business India. In 2006, he was nominated to the inaugural class of the India Leadership Initiative, a joint initiative by the Aspen Institute, Colorado and the Goldman Sachs Global Markets Institute.

At Bloomberg UTV, Govindraj anchors the primetime news & analysis show - India Business Day - weeknights at 9pm. He also hosts a weekend show - Common Maximum Programme - where he interviews senior business leaders to get their views on where India is headed.
PRANJAL SHARMA

In his 17-year long career as an economic journalist, Pranjal Sharma has been involved with various aspects of the media. He has previously worked with English newspapers, magazines, and news channels and has presented, produced and directed business news shows in English and Hindi. Pranjal has a Bachelors degree in economics from Delhi University and a Post Graduate diploma in media from the Times Centre for Media Studies, Delhi. He has also taken a mid-career course in media from the University of Westminster, London and has been a recipient of the News Television Award 2007 for Best Business Show and Best Business News Anchor in Hindi.

At Bloomberg UTV, Pranjal hosts the primetime news show Business 360 - that covers all global business news in one crisp hour, weeknights at 8pm.
MINI MENON

Mini Menon has hosted and produced flagship news programs on TVi (Business India), STAR TV, CNBC TV18 and Times Now. Over the last 10 years, she has presented and reported extensively on both business and political news and has a strong sense of the visual medium. She has been honored with the Rajiv Gandhi Award for excellence and the Zee Astitva Award for Journalism. Recently, she also won the best English business news anchor award at the Indian News Broadcasting Awards 2009. Mini is a graduate in History from St Stephens College, Delhi University and has received professional training of broadcast news in India & U.K.

At Bloomberg UTV, Mini anchors the weekend show Eye on the Week. She also hosts the markets show Top Trades at 11.
HINDOL SENGUPTA

Hindol has written for the AP, Reuters, IANS, BBC World Service and the Newsweek magazine. He moved to UTV from Network18 where he anchored primetime news, anchored and produced special features and led fashion and luxury coverage. He wrote the first book on the Indian fashion industry, Indian Fashion (Pearson Plc, 2005). His new book Ramp Up on the business of Indian fashion is due in spring 2009. Hindol has studied journalism at Delhi University and mass communication at MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia.

At Bloomberg UTV, Hindol hosts a weekend talk show called Talk Back where he interviews thought leaders and newmakers.
VIKRAM OZA
Features Editor
Vikram Oza has been a part of the media space for over a decade - straddling radio, TV and print. Apart from stints as correspondent and producer with lifestyle programmes such as Amul India Show on Star Plus, Body and Soul on Star One and Diabolical on Zee Trendz, Vikram has assisted in the production of Asia Today on BBC World in London. He has also written and directed documentary films on a wide range of themes for the United Nations, BBC, HelpAge India and various state governments.

At Bloomberg UTV, Vikram hosts the daily interactive show - Mad About Markets (weekdays at 1:30pm) and the weekend personal finance show Smart Money.
RAHUL ARORA

A student of economics from Denison University in Ohio, Rahul worked with Citigroup's Primerica Financial Services in Chicago as a Financial Planner. On moving back to India he worked as a Research Analyst with PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance on projects spanning Mergers & Acquisitions, Non Performing Loan Valuations and Advisory Services. Post PwC, Rahul worked with UBS Investment Banking in Mumbai. At UBS he was on the team that successfully completed the ADR listing of ICICI Bank and was actively involved on projects that spanned Fund raising via ECBs and FCCBs for various clients. Before joining UTVi, Rahul worked with CNBC-TV18 as the Anchor for prime time shows, in addition to actively tracking sectors such as Real Estate, FMCG, Textiles & Retail.

At Bloomberg UTV, Rahul anchors the markets primetime shows - Dealing Room (weekdays 9:30 to 11am) and Countdown (weekdays 2:30 to 3:30pm). He also hosts the weekend markets wrap - Beat The Street.
TINA TANDON

Tina has been covering advertising and marketing trends for more than 7 years. Her programming and reporting experience includes working as a Correspondent in Brand Equity and Corporate Dossier (The Economic Times), and as a retail, real estate, advertising and marketing reporter for CNBC-TV18. She has also anchored a host of special features across topics like Sports and Infrastructure and has also extensively covered international advertising festivals like the Cannes Lions and Ad Asia. Before joining UTVi, she was the Producer of CNBC-TV 18's award winning feature show Storyboard.

At Bloomberg UTV, Tina hosts the weekend A&M show "Logo".
SURABHI UPADHYAY

Surabhi has been associated with the print and broadcast medium for 8 years. A gold medalist in Mass Communication from Delhi University, she began her career with the Times of India, New Delhi as a city reporter in 2002, and then moved on to CNBC-TV18 in 2004. After covering economic policy in Delhi for over a year in CNBC, she moved to Mumbai and covered corporate news - in the textile, retail and real estate sectors. Surabhi also anchored live market shows and bulletins on CNBC - a role she continued with, at her next assignment at Times Now. Prior to UTV, Surabhi was co-anchoring Times Now's prime time 9'oclock show THE NEWSHOUR.

At Bloomberg UTV, Surabhi anchors markets bands shows like Market Watch at 8:30am, Beyond the Sensex at 11:30am, Market Analytics at 12:30pm and Today on Dalal Street at 4pm.

Shruti has done an MBA from the University of Wales, Cardiff with a specialization in International Finance & Strategy. After a short stint with Seagram Asia Pacific in Singapore she moved back to India with Ernst & Young. Her time as a senior consultant with Ernst & Young was spent helping media companies map the strategic environment they function in, identifying potential partnerships or acquisitions. Shruti loves the thrill of the financial markets and has done a BSE certification course on Futures & Options. Apart from tracking the ups & downs of the stock market, she spends time playing chess or reading.

ELAN DUTTA

Elan Dutta has been associated with news- both business and current affairs -for the last 6 years. A student of St Xavier's College, she went onto host and produce shows in Headlines Today and Times Now before joining UTVi. Her last assignment included hosting the flagship Reuters World Report on Times Now, the highest rated international news show on Indian TV. In her free time, Elan likes to travel and write.

For 2 years now at Bloomberg UTV, Radhika Bajaj has been leading a variety of feature shows; from 'Cracking Careers'- our flagship show on youth and career choices to 'I Will Survive' an innovative new show highlighting day to day issues in the life of a working woman. Radhika also leads the lifestyle and entertainment shows on Bloomberg UTV. In addition, Radhika is also a regular face on the channel with anchoring responsibilities for newscasts, feature shows and special programming. Prior to Bloomberg UTV, Radhika was part of Aaj Tak and Headlines Today with domain expertise in entertainment, films and lifestyle. She has produced, hosted and managed many leading entertainment based shows for Headlines Today & Aaj Tak and has been the face of lifestyle reporting for Headlines Today. With 7 years of experience in print and television journalism, Radhika enjoys the thrill and pace of broadcasting.
