MUMBAI: Tata Tea has reported a fall of 77% in net profit at Rs 92 crore for the third quarter of FY10. It had a net profit of Rs 396 crore in the year-ago period.

Net sales rose by 18% to Rs 1540 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 from Rs 1300 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
