MUMBAI: Sobha Developers has posted a 444% growth in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 at Rs 41 crore when compared with Rs 7.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

HIGHLIGHTS

Net Sales up 37% at Rs 307 cr vs Rs 180.5 cr

Net Profit up 444% at Rs 40.8 cr vs Rs 7.5 cr

EBITDA up 31% at Rs 62.3 cr vs Rs 47.5 cr

EBITDA down 600 bps at 20% vs 26%

Factors at play:

Interest cost down 48% at Rs 14.8 cr vs Rs 28.6 cr

Material consumed as percentage of net sales at 44% vs 55% sequentially

Total expenditure as percentage of net sales remained at 82% sequentially
