MUMBAI: Idea Cellular has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 220.15 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 whereas the same was at Rs 144.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, its total income is Rs 3005.60 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 whereas it was at Rs 2303.65 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

Figures for the current period are not comparable with that of the previous period due to the de-merger of passive infrastructure to Idea Cellular Towers Infrastructure.
