MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel reported a 5% fall in net profit at Rs 2210 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009, from Rs 2,321 crore the previous quarter, as per US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Net sales for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009, were down 0.7% at Rs 9, 772 crore from Rs 9845 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2009 .
