With heightened concerns over inflation reaching double digits, market participants are also looking over their shoulders for a hike in CRR by the RBI, she adds.
The US markets have opened in the positive zone. The Dow is currently at 10654.47, up 12.32 points from the previous close. Adding 5.53 points, the Nasdaq is at 2367.74.
HOLDSesa Goa Ltd with a target of Rs 490-550, says Shrikant Chouhan, Technical Analyst, Kotak Securities. The stock closed at Rs 439.75, up 0.7% on the BSE.
BUYReliance Industries Ltd (RIL) with a target of Rs 1080-1100, says Rajesh Jain, Research Head, SMC Global Securities. The stock closed at Rs 1066.80, up 3.8% on the BSE.
The market has closed on a positive note. The Sensex has ended at 17383.18, up 1.3% from the previous close. Adding 1.3%, the Nifty closed at 5198.10. Both the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were up 1.1% and 1.3% respectively. BSE Oil & Gas index (up 2.8%) was the top gainer among others.

The overall view on the markets is positive, say dealers. Markets are trading between 5090 and 5150 levels, he adds. The 50-stock index is currently up 5171.50, up 42.90 points from its previous close.
The Nifty will face stiff resistance around 5170 levels, say dealers. It has support at 5110 and 5090 levels, he adds. On the upside, if it closes above 5170, it can go up to 5230 levels; on the downside an end below 5090 level will take the Nifty to 5050 levels, they further add.
